Who owns this app

Home Tutor by MyKey is developed and owned by MyKey Consulting Services LLC, based in Bothell, Washington. In these terms, we, us, and our mean MyKey Consulting Services LLC.

By using Home Tutor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Home Tutor is

Home Tutor is an educational support tool. It gives families step-by-step activities, schedules, rewards, and progress notes to support learning at home.

Home Tutor is not medical, legal, therapeutic, or financial advice. It does not replace a doctor, therapist, lawyer, teacher, IEP, transition plan, or other professional guidance. Talk with a qualified professional about decisions in those areas.

Not for emergencies

Home Tutor is not an emergency service and nobody watches it for urgent messages. If someone is in danger or needs urgent help, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Using the app the right way

When you use Home Tutor, you agree to:

• Use it for supporting learning at home, in a lawful way.
• Only enter information about a student if you are that student, or their parent, guardian, or someone who has permission.
• Supervise activities in a way that fits the student. You are responsible for safety during any activity.
• Not try to break into, overload, copy, or disrupt the app or other accounts.
• Not post anything harmful, hateful, or unlawful.

Your account

• You must be an adult to make an account. A parent or guardian sets up and manages the account for a child under 13.
• Give a real email address so you can reset your password.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at hello@mykeyplans.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms.

Who owns the content

The app, its design, the activities, lessons, text, and artwork belong to MyKey Consulting Services LLC and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own family or the students you support. You may not copy, sell, or republish them without written permission.

What you type into the app, such as student names, notes, schedules, and rewards, stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it so the app can work for you.

No guarantees

Home Tutor is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it helpful and running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes, or that it will lead to any particular learning result.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, MyKey Consulting Services LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost information, that come from using or not being able to use Home Tutor.

Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, in the United States. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington State.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If you keep using Home Tutor after a change, you accept the new terms.
